1 Peter 1:6-13

(1 Peter 1:6-13)

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:  Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.  Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: .Gold cannot be made. Gold is produced only after the impurities are burned and melted through a hot furnace. Gold is the word of God. To enter into the Word of God, it means that there must be a life to deny self. According to the book of Job, there is a saying that Job suffered in the worst of the suffering that no one could ever experience. In Job 23:10But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. In Revelation 2:10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

The Lord promises glory to the suffering Saints.Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.. Peter reminds the Lord that glory has come because the Lord suffered."lessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead," Peter reminds people of the resurrection glory even in suffering, and endures tribulation. which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,'Regeneration and Resurrection are the same.

Jesus is the first fruit of the resurrection, and then the saints in Christ are born again as spirit bodies. Regeneration is not a state of the mind, but a state of the body. It is true that fresh body dies and is reborn as spirit body. This is the present resurrection. So those who are born again have hope.

It was never a smooth life for Jews living in Rome to be forced to move to the Turkish region across the sea and to be trapped in indigenous peoples in strange lands. The apostle Peter comforted them with a letter and wanted them not to lose hope. The apostle Peter reminded the Jews in trouble, "You are born again through the resurrected Jesus from the dead, and there is a living hope." And Peter emphasized to remember that the prophets had been revealed since ancient times, and that the angels have the glory to receive after the suffering of Jesus, who wants to see them.That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
